The Gibeon was found in the Namibia during 1836, by the English army captain and explorer Sir James E. Alexander, but was known by the native people well before 1836. Gibeons are Classified as a fine Octahedrite ( IVA ) Iron Meteorite. When Polished and etched it shows the Widmanstatten Pattern.
Meteorite is said to have healing powers that include, amplifying thoughts / telepathic sending / receiving, greater awareness, and some connection to extraterrestrial life, with an unusual energy.
I have made many of these rings with no two being the same. The ring in this photo is a size 10 ½. But it can be sized up or down a size. This ring is a solid ring, with a good weight to it, making it a low maintenance ring, a lifetime ring. The top of the ring is approximately 10 mm wide, the shake is 6.3 mm wide and 1.7 mm thick. Our 14kt GC logo has been placed on the top of the ring.
Each of these rings is different and can be cast in any karat or color of gold you wish. I make the wax for each meteorite and cast the gold around the stone so you never have to worry about the meteorite becoming loose or falling out.
