Inspiration

People often ask me what the source of inspiration is for my designs. The inspiration for many of my creations comes from the environment surrounding me. I strive to create a piece of jewellery that has a balance of both function and natural beauty. In designing each piece I like to encompass the feelings and experiences that have affected me personally. The pure stillness of a morning lake, the vigorous rush of river waters, the astounding beauty in the silhouette of a tree amidst a winter’s storm or the sense of awe found in a star lit night. I see the beauty of nature and our surroundings in the smallest of details and try to bring this to life in forms of wearable art. Jewellery has always been a basic art form. As humans the need for individuality is essential and jewellery provides us with a means to express this. I hope that each piece I create will capture a special moment in time for each person who wears my jewellery so they will forever be reminded of that special time or feeling. No matter where you lost it, we maybe able to help you find it. The sooner you give us a call the sooner we maybe able to help bring it back to you. CALL OUT FEES:   Land Detecting: - Includes jobs that only involve searching dry land, such as gardens, parks, beach sand etc. Metal Detector used for such jobs is Minelab SD2200 and/or Excalibur II, and/or Fisher 1280x, or other machines.  ---within 20kms of Whitby Ontario to your seach location........................................$120 tax in ---outside 20kms and upto 40kms of Whitby Ontario to your seach location...... $175 tax in ---outside 40kms and upto 80kms of Whitby Ontario to your search location..... $225 tax in Water Detecting: - Items lost in shallow (upto 4 1/2 feet deep) water require the use of my underwater metal detector, the Minelab Excalibur II. ---within 20kms of Whitby Ontario to your seach location.........................................$175 tax in ---outside 20kms and upto 40kms of Whitby Ontario to your seach location...... $225 tax in ---outside 40kms and upto 80kms of Whitby Ontario to your search location..... $285 tax in Dive Team Scuba Detecting: - Items lost in water from 4 1/5 feet up to 50 feet deep, require use of Scuba Equipment plus the Minelab Excalibur II and/or Fisher 1280x. Depending on conditions, some jobs will require the assistance of a safety diver. These jobs are priced by the hour on top of call out fees --- Please call for pricing as each job is different. What does the call out fee include? The call out fee covers travel to your location, gas, 407 toll fees, up to 2 hours of search time. This does not mean we are watching the clock. Finding your lost item is our “primary” concern…It is not unusual for us to spend well beyond 2 hours searching when needed.  Call out fees are payable in advance by PayPal before we take on the search. - The Call Out Fee is applicable even if we are unable to find your lost item. REWARD FEE: Many of our customers have told us, we are selling ourselfs too cheap. For as little as $120 tax included, it can be normal to spend over an hour each way stuck in traffic, up to 2 hours plus detecting time, not to mention gas, mileage and other costs. The reward fee is only optional. There is no right or wrong reward fee amount. Some jobs can literally take 5 minutes to complete. Others can take many hours and/or visits in tough conditions. We leave it up to the customer to decide if we deserve a reward for our work. Recovery Fee For Insurance Companies:  Recovery fee for insurance companies is 20% to 25% of the insured value of lost item. Fee is only payable if item is recovered. Can I Just Rent Your Metal Detector? No. We do not rent out any of our equipment. Please note, to rent a metal detector is around $75 per day. As for the quality of the detector you hire, well this is pot luck.  By using our services, you avoid the hassles of driving around town to pickup and drop off your rental metal detector. We drive to you. We use state of the art metal detecting equipment from both MineLab and Fisher. And most importantly, you don’t have to worry about learning how to use a metal detector. You have access to the services of an experienced metal detector operator who is passionate about recovering your lost valuables.    So How Does This Work?    You fill out the information request below.   We will phone you to discuss the search and requirements of the seach.   We agree on the Call Out Fee.  We will give you our PayPal account for you to pay the no refundable Call Out Fee.  Once we receive payment. We will arrange to meet with you at a agreed time and place to start you search.
